Derek Richardson

Derek's father in law got him started in chainsaw carving in November of 2014. He is not a fulltime carver yet. Maybe once the youngest of his 3 kids gets closer to 18, Derek will turn to chainsaw carving full time. He's been married for 14 years, and has always been into drawing, but not much into 3D art. It took a little while to get use to creating art on multiple levels. Derek is a shy, keep to himself kinda person, but loves to help other carvers if he can. When he's using the saw, he's a completely different person. Derek becomes one with the saw. All carvers like to show their skills and entertain people. Now, Derek is slowly teaching his 15 and 8 year olds the ropes.
